How God Turns a Bad Day Into The Best Day!

NEEBS VINCENT

Before finding Christ, my life was marked by disappointment and a deep sense of unfulfillment. I was struggling financially, spiritually, mentally, and physically, feeling hopeless as my once-prominent aspects of life became burdens. Desperate for change, I turned to reading the Bible, seeking answers. One particularly difficult day, I cried out to God in an empty parking lot, asking for a sign and reassurance of His presence.

Three days later, on my birthday, which I felt indifferent about due to pressing bills and a bruised ego, I was driving for Uber out of necessity. On what seemed like an ordinary shift, I met Marisabel on my last ride. Initially, I didn’t engage with her at all, not even a greeting. As the ride ended, she got out, and as I thought she was going to close the door, she told me, “God wanted me to let you know to continue seeking Him.” Her words struck me deeply.

Marisabel then encouraged me to start a fast, something I had already been contemplating. At that moment, I knew God was speaking to me directly through her.

Marisabel shared the word of God and prayed for me from the backseat of my Uber. This encounter marked a turning point; I felt a profound connection with God and decided to give my life to Christ. I felt alive, and experienced a feeling I have never felt. Since then, Marisabel has become my mentor and teacher, guiding me not only in understanding scripture and prayer but also through her own relationship with God. Her life reflects her teachings, and her direct connection with God provides invaluable insight and direction. Looking at where I am today, I'm thankful for her obedience in that split second.

I am deeply grateful to God for Marisabel, the answer to my prayer from that parking lot. Her influence has helped me and many others find Christ through the Holy Spirit’s power. God is truly good!
