I Sought the Lord, He Heard and He Answered

In 2023, I was in a dark mental space. After spending years of my life “working on myself”, “healing” on my own, and trying to fill voids with people and things of this world, I reached a point where I realized I couldn’t save myself.  I was unknowingly practicing new age spirituality, one of the ways the devil tried to deceive me. I was drowning in worry, anxiety, and anguish, but it was in this dark space that God found me. One day, I woke up crying and said, “God, I don’t want to feel this way anymore”. I sought Him with my whole heart and He answered. He came to my rescue, and He knew exactly where to find me. On April 27, 2023 I came across my friend Yinell’s Instagram post, which was an invitation to the Women’s Bible Study led by Marisabel.  

Marisabel’s boldness and obedience in answering the Lord’s call to start the Women’s Bible Study answered the cries of many, including myself. I am eternally grateful for Marisabel’s guidance, support, and mentorship. Marisabel is truly a God-Fearing woman led by the Holy Spirit, allowing herself to be used as a vessel to help so many lost souls come back home to God. 

On June 25, 2023, I gave my life to Christ in the Women’s Bible Study, and God has transformed my life completely. The Lord has filled me up with His supernatural peace that goes beyond human understanding, He has filled those voids I so desperately tried to fill on my own, and I am no longer living in a dark mental space.  All that I am and all that I’ve become are because of God. All glory and all praise goes to Him for saving me.
